Production Designer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Production (wood working) Designer with hands-on experience in Spacio (modular furniture design software). The candidate will be responsible for designing furniture layouts, preparing accurate shop drawings, and generating Bills of Materials (BoM) for production. Key Responsibilities: Develop 3D designs for furniture and interior woodworking projects using Spacio software. Generate BoMs, cut lists, and panel details directly from the design software. Collaborate with the production and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility and material optimization. Maintain accuracy and consistency in design data and technical documentation. Work closely with Production Manager, Front-end designers and clients to interpret design requirements and translate them into executable drawings. Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, functionality, and aesthetics. Ensure all designs comply with manufacturing standards and quality specifications. Provide technical drawings and shop drawings for workshop execution. Collaborate with shop floor workers to make sure the right panels are produced. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or related field. Proficiency in Spacio/B cabinet software (mandatory). Knowledge of BoM generation, CNC panel processing, and modular furniture manufacturing. Good understanding of woodworking materials, hardware, and joinery techniques. Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design tools. Strong attention to detail and spatial visualization skills. Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Experience: Prior experience in modular furniture, kitchen design, or commercial interiors.
