Role Overview: The Production Designer at HYKEA Modular Private Limited is responsible for converting approved customer designs into precise, production-ready models on Spazio. This role bridges design intent and manufacturing executionensuring all modules, materials, and hardware are correctly configured for automated processing on Biesse machines. The position demands strong technical understanding of modular furniture systems, design software proficiency, and collaboration across design, production, and installation teams for both B2B and B2C clients.

Key Responsibilities: • Interpret approved client designs and reconstruct them accurately in Spazio for modular production. • Ensure design data is fully production-ready and compatible for direct machine execution. • Validate all module parameters, material selections, edge-banding details, hardware fittings, and machining operations. • Coordinate with the design, procurement, and production teams to resolve design or technical discrepancies before release. • Optimize designs for manufacturing efficiency, minimizing rework, waste, and CNC programming errors. • Maintain design libraries, material standards, and production templates within the Spazio environment. • Handle both B2B project configurations (bulk modular components) and B2C custom designs while maintaining accuracy and speed. • Conduct random audits of production drawings and machine programs to ensure alignment with design intent. • Support continuous improvement by standardizing workflows between Spazio and Biesse integration.

Qualifications & Skills: • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical Design, or related field. • 25 years of experience in modular furniture or panel processing industry. • Proficiency in Spazio, AutoCAD, and strong understanding of CNC machining operations (Biesse preferred). • Knowledge of modular construction systems, joinery details, and hardware applications. • Strong attention to detail, spatial accuracy, and ability to troubleshoot design or production mismatches. • Effective communication and collaboration across teams to ensure on-time, error-free production release.

Performance Metrics: • Accuracy and completeness of Spazio-to-Biesse design output. • Zero or minimal rework during CNC or assembly stages. • Timeliness of design release to production. • Alignment of output with material utilization and quality standards. • Positive feedback from production and installation teams.
