Key Responsibilities : Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials (e.g., plywood, laminates, hardware) to and from machines or workstations. Transport components between departments (cutting, edge banding, assembly, packing). Machine Assistance: Assist machine operators with basic tasks such as feeding materials into CNC routers, panel saws, or edge banders. Clean and prepare machines for operation. Monitor basic machine functions and report malfunctions. Assembly Support: Support carpenters or assemblers in assembling cabinets, wardrobes, and other modular units. Hold parts in place, apply glue or fasteners under supervision. Quality Control Support: Assist in visual inspection of parts for defects, scratches, or measurement errors. Report defects or non-conformities to the supervisor. Packing and Finishing: Help in packaging finished furniture parts. Apply protective covers or padding as needed. Label and stack products as per shipping instructions. Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of work area and tools. Dispose of scrap materials safely and according to guidelines.
