Production -Deputy/Manager

Description The Production Manager leads the planning, scheduling and execution of all manufacturing operations within the plant. He/she is responsible for cost-effective planning, processing, production. This role will be the direct manager for each Shift Supervisor. The Production Manager ensuring products are produced on-time, within budget, with the highest quality and uncompromising safety. Duties and Responsibilities · Ensure efficient production scheduling to achieve plant production targets. · Manage & control the production activity. · Production Planning. · Raw material Planning. · Maintenance scheduling. · Record keeping of all the activity. · Plan and implement test and calibration activities. · Focused on ongoing process improvement. · Identifies opportunities for cost control and works to implement them with support from Plant Manager · Losses Control (Fuel, Energy, Spillages, Process) · Cost-saving initiatives · Ensure effective stock control for both raw materials, WIP and finished · Quality standards. · Always promotes health & safe working environment in manufacturing plant. Required Skills & Experience · BE in chemical / M.Sc. in chemistry or Polymer Chemistry. · Minimum 10 + Years experience in a manufacturing process, preferably Polyester resin manufacturing and including Minimum 5+ year of managerial experience · Technical knowledge of equipment handling like Reactor, Blender, Pilot reactor, Thermopac and Bio Briquette, cooling tower, ETP & STP. · Testing of resin samples Acid value, OH value, Viscosity, Solid’s · Handling of PLC/SCADA base system · Solid experience with MS Office tools- PowerPoint, Excel, Word · Excellent written and verbal communication. · Creative problem solver. · Positive attitude with a track record of delivering results · Self-motivated with strong ability to multitask and operate with minimal supervision. · Ability to motivate, manage, and develop people of all skill levels effectively.
