Production and Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Production & Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end production process for Flexo Printing Inks, including ink dispensing operations, quality control, and warehouse management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in flexographic ink formulation, dispenser machine operation, and inventory management to ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities for flexo printing inks.

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain ink dispenser machines to ensure accurate color matching and batch consistency.

• Monitor and control production schedules, raw material usage, and manpower deployment.

• Coordinate with R&D and Quality teams to ensure inks meet required standards and customer specifications.

• Maintain records of production batches, ink formulations, and inventory transactions.

• Supervise warehouse operations including stock management, goods receipt, dispatch, and space utilization.

• Implement and maintain 5S, safety, and lean manufacturing practices on the shop floor.

• Optimize production processes to minimize waste and improve efficiency.

• Liaise with suppliers, logistics, and procurement teams for material planning and timely replenishment.

• Train and lead production staff to ensure adherence to operational standards and targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Printing Technology, or related field.

• 5–10 years of experience in flexo printing inks or related chemical manufacturing.

• Hands-on experience with automatic ink dispenser systems (e.g., GSE, Flenex, Inkmaker, etc.).

• Strong understanding of ink formulations, viscosity control, and color management.

• Experience managing warehouse operations, ERP inventory systems, and logistics coordination.

• Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of ISO / GMP / EHS standards is a plus.
