Job Description

Product Test Engineer

Comprehensive product testing (Manual and Automated).Executing the pre-defined tests and any adhoc tests.Identify and document the issues seen during testing and clear documentation of the steps to re-produce the failures.We are seeking a skilled Product Test Engineer with expertise in both manual and automated testing to ensure the quality and stability of our Android-based systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing predefined and ad-hoc test cases, identifying and documenting issues, and contributing to root cause analysis through log and crash dump analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive product testing (Manual and Automated).
  • Execute predefined test cases and design ad-hoc tests as needed.
  • Identify, document, and reproduce issues with clear steps.
  • Generate and maintain daily test reports.
  • Participate in issue triage, debugging, and crash dump collection.
  • Analyze system logs to assist in root cause analysis.
  • Monitor system performance and stability.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure product quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in product testing, preferably in Android environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
