Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting security pen testing, monitoring, and auditing within a dynamic global organization. The products under test will have the coverage of embedded devices and cloud services. You should have exposure to embedded devices as well as cloud services (AWS/Azure). Your role will involve conducting white box tests and total black box engagements. Your success will be evaluated based on your ability to identify weak points in the design and implementation of products and focus on finding security gaps. It will be crucial for you to clearly document all findings and communicate them to the design team for mitigation. As a Senior Pen Tester, you must be versatile in your attack vectors and possess knowledge of various exploits. The ideal candidate will have experience in a broad range of attack vectors across different devices, from small embedded devices to complex cloud ecosystems. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct security evaluation and threat assessments of embedded systems, mobile applications, and web applications - Conduct research to identify new vulnerabilities and enhance existing capabilities - Circumvent security protection methods and techniques - Perform data bus monitoring (snooping) and data injection - Analyze communication protocols in embedded products and applications - Engage in wireless communications channel snooping and data injection - Reverse engineer complex systems and protocols - Create detailed technical reports and proof of concept code to document findings - Perform System Breakdown of projects/products before testing, identify testing requirements, and plan detailed testing activities - Interact with engineering groups to communicate testing needs, progress, and provide analysis reports - Manage Gitlab issues and provide mentorship for junior resources - Adhere to VERTIV SECURE requirements and Vulnerability Management and Incident Response processes - Provide mentorship and direction on planned testing activities for junior resources - Assist in leading testing activities and drive continuous improvement in testing processes Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related Engineering field - Additional advanced security qualifications such as CISSP or Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE) preferred - 5 to 8 years of experience in information, application, and embedded product security or IT risk management - Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security - Knowledge of current IT risks and experience in implementing security solutions - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong leadership skills and ability to influence change within a dynamic environment - Technical contributions to the development lifecycle of applications, products, or services Additional Company Details: This position will be primarily based in Pune, India, at the Global R&D center. You will work under the guidance of global security processes and support regional and global engineering groups. You will enhance internal testing processes and procedures using your knowledge and experience.,
