will be a member of an experienced Valmet Global sales team. This position has a key role in sales organization. This position reports to “

Senior Product Sales Manager, Filtration Product

or Global Sr. sales Manager filtration.

Purpose of the Position

Head of India Filtration

Responsible for sales, marketing and team management for India and other region.His main responsibility is to coordinate with team to sustain current business and develop new business for sustainable growth.Promote and sell the organization's products and services, and provide technical sales support.
  • Pursue sales leads, visiting existing and new customers to meet sales target levels.
  • Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority; and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
  • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.

Work complexity and business impact:

Works independently to complete given assignments and projects, promoting and selling the organization's products and services. Significant negotiation is required and it is critical to be able identify and follow-up on prospective customers. Guides and influences others within own area of expertise.

Areas of responsibility

India OB/NS/New Customer development. Team Managment

He is responsible for strengthen technical and sales skill of team by providing in house, on site and overseas training as per requirement.He is responsible for monthly OB/NS target and team reporting analysis to understand and track the live cases.

Basic Requirements Of The Position

Technical competency

Knowledge of basic filtration principal and experience in solid/liquid filtration. Must be capable to take decision for negotiation with customer

Areas of Authority

Support for all India business growth

All India for promoting sales and develop new customers

Basic Qualification

Engineering graduate/ Diploma holder in Mechanical / Chemical /environmental. Basic science graduate can also apply if experience in similar filed more than five years.Sales experience in solid/liquid filtration in similar industry having preference over others.
