Product & Program Definition Specialist

Role Overview: You will join the Product Definition Team within Ford's Vehicle Program Management Team as a highly motivated and technically skilled specialist. Your main responsibility will be to contribute to the success of Ford's innovation lab by utilizing your technical expertise in product and program management technologies, analytical skills, an understanding of innovation processes, and proficiency in programming and PLM systems. Your role will involve articulating abstract concepts, performing digital mockups, and creating visual storyboards/demos using the innovation lab technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Understand complex and abstract concepts and ideate within a team environment. - Visualize future state solutions, methods, and product architectures using paper models. - Translate paper model concepts into innovation lab solutions/prototypes using out-of-the-box tools. - Evaluate and validate concepts, provide fit gap analysis, and recommend solutions. - Create visual storyboards and demos for the leadership team. - Own and maintain the team's 3DX environment, ensuring availability and optimal performance. - Build prototype solutions in 3DX based on team-generated concepts and ideas. - Analyze current state processes, procedures, tools, and datasets to identify inconsistencies, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities in product definition processes. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field. - 5-7 years of experience in program management, data analysis, or product definition role, preferably within the automotive industry. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to create and deliver clear, concise, and engaging presentations to diverse audiences. - Analytical, detail-oriented, and adaptable. - Comfortable voicing opinions and sharing innovative concepts within a team setting. - Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. - Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneNote for team communication. - Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. - Experience with data analysis tools (Excel with VB or Power BI).
