About the Position
The Product Owner (PO) will focus on customer s business processes and requirements and break those processes and requirements into user stories. The PO will work closely with and maintain a strong and positive business relationship with the development team, product management, and customers to understand requirements and functionality. Role and Responsibilities
Translate requirements defined by product management/customers into user stories to prioritize in a product backlog.
Own and maintain the product backlog and work closely with key stakeholders to define the right prioritization to meet the end user objectives.
Case modelling experience.
Platform and/or SaaS experience.
Ensure the development team understands items in the product backlog to the level required to execute.
Work closely and collaboratively with the SCRUM team(s) to ensure user stories are completed on time and with quality.
Be available to assist with day-to-day tactical challenges within the development team, participate in daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews/demos, and retrospective meetings.
Inspect the progress at the end of every sprint and accept or reject user stories.
Communicate on a technical level with other members of the PO development teams and translate business capabilities to technical user stories.
Act as a resource for development, quality assurance, documentation, and support for product questions and issues.
Provide demonstrations of projects to internal and external stakeholders/customers.
Work with quality assurance to recommend additional testing to be implemented into test scripts if needed.
Attend design review meetings, ensure that functionality for design projects matches the design objectives, and provide feedback for all products.
Organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks/assignments/projects simultaneously.
Stays current with technology trends and offers up new technologies, frameworks, and concepts when in support of business initiatives.
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skills.
Participate in industry events and stay current on upcoming trends in the market.
Perform other duties as assigned. About You
3 years Product Owner experience. Good to have Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification. Has good experience following Agile methodology. Thorough understanding of technical principals, theories, and concepts. Ability to apply comprehensive knowledge of the industry to the completion of complex assignments. Has good understanding of how the PO team contributes to work unit s success and able to recognize wider business implications of decisions/actions. Ability to listen to customers or business experts, analyze their requirements and supply solutions. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Self-starter. Positive attitude to explore, research, and analyze. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of leasing. Use Case modeling experience is helpful.
