Job Title: Product Owner Payments Domain (with PEGA Expertise)

Product Owner

Key Responsibilities

• Product Backlog Management

  : Define, prioritize, and maintain a backlog aligned with business goals.

• Requirements Gathering

  : Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document payment and workflow requirements.

• Feature Development

  : Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for payment products and PEGA workflows.

• Agile Delivery

  : Partner with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery in a SAFe Agile environment.

• PEGA Expertise

  : Work with PEGA developers and architects to design and implement workflows; ensure alignment with business rules and compliance.

• Domain Expertise

  : Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payment systems such as ACH, Fedwire, TCH, SWIFT, and ISO 20022.

• Compliance & Risk

  : Ensure adherence to regulatory, security, and compliance standards.

• Stakeholder Communication

  : Act as a liaison between business, technology, and operations teams.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the

  Payments domain

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  Fedwire, ACH, TCH, SWIFT

  , and

  ISO 20022

  formats.
• Proven experience as a

  Product Owner

  in a

  SAFe Agile

  environment.
• Hands-on experience with the

  PEGA platform

  , including workflows and integration with payment systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in the

  Claims domain

  is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with payment engines like

  Finastra GPP, Dovetail, or FIS

  .
• Familiarity with

  payment integration layers and channels

  .
• Understanding of

  regulatory compliance

  in the payments space.

• PEGA certification

  (CSA/CSSA) is a strong advantage.
