Job Description

As a Product Manager in the construction chemicals industry, you will play a crucial role in driving product development, market analysis, and customer relationship management. Your responsibilities will encompass various key areas: Product Management: You will be tasked with conducting thorough market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competition across different construction segments. Collaborating with the R&D team, you will conceptualise new product ideas, refine formulations, and create detailed product roadmaps. Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key customers, gathering feedback for product improvement, participating in industry events, and collaborating with the sales team to provide technical support during the sales process will be crucial for maintaining strong customer relationships. Cross-functional Collaboration: Acting as a bridge between different teams, facilitating communication, coordinating product requirements, and organising cross-functional meetings will be essential for seamless execution and alignment across various departments. Project Management: Leading and managing product-related projects, developing detailed project plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project deliverables are met within specified timeframes and budgets will be part of your project management responsibilities. Continuous Learning and Development: Actively seeking opportunities to enhance domain knowledge, staying updated with industry trends, collaborating with academic institutions, and attending relevant technical certifications will be important for continuous learning and professional development. Success in this role requires a strong background as a Civil Engineer with 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in the Building Materials or Construction Chemicals industry.
