Product Manager/ Assistant Product Manager

Experience: 3-5 Years with well-known brands, D2C & Sales experience will be good.

Education: MBA from top B-schools

Key Responsibilities

New Product Development (NPD)

• Lead end-to-end product development from ideation to market launch, managing cross-functional teams across R&D, SCM, manufacturing, and sales

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify white spaces and consumer insights

• Develop product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and consumer trends

• Create detailed product requirements, specifications, and go-to-market strategies

• Monitor product performance post-launch and iterate based on data-driven insights

Business Analytics & Pricing

• Build and maintain comprehensive analytical models in Excel for business planning, forecasting, and decision-making

• Develop pricing strategies using P&L analysis, category grids, and competitive benchmarking

• Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior to inform product and pricing decisions

• Create dashboards and reports tracking KPIs including sales performance, profitability, and market share

• Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling for strategic initiatives

Digital & E-commerce Management

• Drive e-commerce strategy and execution across key platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, D2C website, etc.)

• Optimize product listings, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximize online sales and conversion rates

• Drive social media strategy targeting with authentic, engaging content

Media

• Develop and execute 360 marketing campaigns

• Track ROI on marketing spend and optimize budget allocation across channels

• Stay updated on social media trends, influencer marketing, and content formats resonating with younger demographics

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with sales, marketing, finance, legal, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution

• Communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal and external stakeholders

• Coordinate with agencies (advertising, media, market research, digital) for campaign execution

• Present insights and recommendations to senior management

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have:

• MBA from a Tier-1/2 business school or equivalent qualification

• 3-5 years of post-MBA experience in product management, brand management, or related roles

• Advanced Excel proficiency - Non-negotiable

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail

• Experience managing digital initiatives including social media, e-commerce, and performance marketing

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Data-driven decision-making mindset

• FMCG/consumer goods background
