Role Overview

The Marketing Trainee role is designed for young, energetic graduates who want hands-on learning in marketing, sales support, digital campaigns, and field activations.

You will work closely with the Sales, Customer Service, and Digital Marketing teams to execute ATL/BTL activities, support market research, and drive brand growth for StoreKing’s Retail OS..

This role gives you exposure to core marketing, FMCG retail dynamics, digital commerce tools, and small-town consumer insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Insights

Conduct competitor analysis, retailer analysis, and product benchmarking.
Study consumer behavior in small-town retail markets.Support research on StoreKing Club and Retail OS (ROS) user journeys.

2. ATL & BTL Marketing Activities

Assist in planning and executing on-ground promotions with the Sales team.
Support distributor and retailer meet-ups, demos, and activation campaigns.Coordinate printing, distribution, and placement of marketing materials (posters, danglers, banners, standees).

3. Digital Marketing Support

Help create content for social media, WhatsApp campaigns, newsletters, and app notifications.
Support in running performance campaigns for user acquisition and engagement.Track campaign performance metrics and analytics with the digital team.

4. Product & App Training Support

Assist in onboarding FMCG distributors and retailers to StoreKing’s Digital Retail Platform. Help create simple training guides/videos for StoreKing Club & ROS apps.
Support customer-facing teams in explaining app features and benefits.

5. Sales & Customer Coordination

Work closely with Sales and Customer Guru teams to ensure marketing supports business goals.
Assist in retailer reactivation campaigns, order follow-ups, and field data collection.Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Ops, Finance, Tech) for smooth execution of marketing tasks.

6. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain daily/weekly marketing activity reports. Track campaign ROI, footfall, distributor participation, and digital adoption metrics.
Document learnings, insights, and recommendations for improvements.

What We’re Looking For

MBA (Marketing), BBM, BCom, or any business/commerce graduate.
Freshers or candidates with relevant internships in Marketing, Sales, or FMCG preferred.Strong verbal and written communication in English & Kannada.Interest in FMCG, retail, marketing, ATL/BTL promotions, or digital commerce.Basic knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and social media marketing. Energetic, creative, field-ready, and eager to learn.Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet timelines.
