Key Responsibilities

1. Market & Technology Intelligence

• Continuously track global technology trends across automotive and mobility sectors.
  
• Conduct competitive benchmarking of OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and technology providers.
  
• Prepare detailed reports on new technologies, digital innovations, regulatory changes, and their impact on the business.
  

2. Technology Planning & Roadmap Development

• Identify new and upcoming technologies relevant to connected vehicles, electronics, and digital architecture.
  
• Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy.
  
• Propose feature enhancements and product innovations based on market needs and business opportunities.
  

3. New Technology Evaluation & Implementation

• Work with engineering, R&D, and product teams to evaluate feasibility of new automotive technologies.
  
• Lead PoCs, pilot testing, prototyping, and validation of new concepts.
  
• Ensure seamless integration of cross-domain technologies in vehicle platforms.
  

4. Project Management

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of technology projects, from concept to implementation.
  
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Electronics, Embedded Systems, IT, Product, Design, Quality, Supply Chain) to deliver projects on time.
  
• Track project risks, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  

5. Connected Car & Digital Technologies

• Drive initiatives related to connected car platforms, telematics, digital key, FoD, infotainment, and vehicle data services.
  
• Evaluate IT and electronics technologies relevant to vehicle connectivity, cloud integration, cybersecurity, and digital features.
  
• Work with system architects and digital teams for platform upgrades and new feature deployment.
  

6. Business Strategy & Use Case Development

• Understand business goals and translate them into meaningful technology use cases.
  
• Identify monetizable digital services and connected features for customers.
  
• Build costbenefit analyses and business cases for new technology proposals.
  

7. Budgeting & Feature Costing

• Work with finance and engineering to estimate development costs, feature costing, and technology ROI.
  
• Optimize cost structures while ensuring technology competitiveness and quality.
  

8. Vehicle Architecture & Platform Engineering

• Analyze trends in digital architecture, zonal architecture, E/E architecture, and software-defined vehicles (SDV).
  
• Support development of robust, scalable, and future-ready connected ecosystems.
  

9. Data Analytics & Monetization

• Support initiatives to leverage vehicle data for insights, predictive maintenance, customer experience, and revenue generation.
  
• Collaborate with analytics teams for defining data strategy, dashboards, and monetization opportunities.
  

10. Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with internal departments, external vendors, technology partners, and regulatory bodies.
  
• Build strong relationships with ecosystem partners such as IoT providers, software companies, and telematics vendors.
