Position:

• Own category P&L and drive sales, growth, and margin targets.
• Optimize pricing, promotions, and product mix.
• Implement cost-efficient sourcing and procurement strategies.

Category Expansion

• Identify market gaps and new business opportunities.
• Launch and scale new verticals with strong profitability.
• Collaborate with product, sourcing, and marketing to build winning assortments and category campaigns.

Vendor Management

• Build strong vendor and supplier partnerships.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts for better efficiencies.
• Ensure timely availability and smooth supply-chain coordination.

Data & Insights

• Use sales data, customer insights, and market research to drive decisions.
• Monitor KPIs like sell-through, inventory turnover, and contribution margins.
• Conduct competitive analysis to stay market-relevant.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Align with marketing, finance, operations, and technology on category strategy.
• Strengthen digital presence by working with the e-commerce team.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years in category management, merchandising, or business expansion in retail/fashion/e-commerce.
• Strong P&L ownership, analytical ability, vendor management, and growth execution.
• Skilled in Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics, and data-led decision-making.
• Strategic thinker with leadership and team management capabilities.
