Renowned for our craftsmanship in high-fashion garments and accessories, we specialize in intricate embroidery, exceptional product quality, and trend-setting designs. We are currently seeking an experienced and visionary Product Development & Merchandising Manager to lead our development and merchandising operations. Position Overview: As the Product Development & Merchandising Manager , you will oversee the entire product lifecycle – from concept to delivery. You will play a critical role in driving merchandising strategies, managing the sample development process, working with high-profile international clients, and ensuring all developments align with luxury fashion standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the sample development process , ensuring alignment with design briefs and buyer expectations. Drive end-to-end merchandising and product development strategies, from costing to pricing to delivery. Collaborate closely with international designers, buyers, artisans, vendors , and internal teams to ensure timely and quality product execution. Oversee development and execution of hand and machine embroidery garments – this is core to the role. Translate brand vision into actionable product strategies , ensuring consistency across product categories. Manage and enhance vendor relationships , including quality control and timely execution. Lead and mentor a team of merchandise coordinators and assistants , fostering collaboration, innovation, and efficiency. Ensure product development aligns with international trends, luxury market expectations , and high fashion craftsmanship. Track and manage costing, pricing structures, and margins , with accuracy and strategic foresight. Maintain strong communication and relationships with global luxury clients and stakeholders. Key Requirements: Minimum 15 years of experience in high fashion merchandising, with at least 5 years in a leadership role . Expertise in hand and machine embroidery work – this is a MUST . Strong command over sample manufacturing and garment technical development – this is a MUST . Deep knowledge of costing, pricing strategies, and production planning – this is a MUST . Proven track record working with European or international luxury fashion brands . In-depth understanding of fashion trends, global retail markets, and product development cycles . Good English communication, negotiation , and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously . A degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, or related fields is preferred.
