Position Overview: We are looking for a talented Product Designer to join our team in Bangalore, India. This role is ideal for a designer with a strong foundation in UI/UX principles and a passion for creating impactful user experiences. As a Product Designer at Goldcast, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, user-centric designs that enhance our products usability and appeal. This role embraces the "+1 Designer" mindset excelling in core product design while leveraging an adjacent skill (e.g., UX writing, motion design, interaction design, or accessibility). Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid or In-office) What you will do Work closely with product managers and engineers to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive product designs. Participate in the end-to-end design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and implementation. Assist in maintaining and evolving our design system to ensure consistency across products. Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups that align with brand and user experience goals. Support usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve design quality. Collaborate with engineers to ensure smooth handoff and implementation of designs. Who you are: 3-5 years of experience in product design. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite. Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and visually appealing UI designs. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. A portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving approach, and final deliverables. A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is a plus. Bonus Points Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with engineers. Interest in emerging AI tools and their applications in design workflows. Experience working with or contributing to design systems. Key Competencies: Creativity and problem-solving. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Compensation: Goldcast is a remote organization with access to an office in Boston for occasional gatherings. Goldcast offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development. The salary range for this role is 40,00,000 - 70,00,000, with flexibility based on the candidates qualifications and experience.
