Job Title: Product Designer Location: Remote (India) Company: Emitrr (US-based SaaS Company) About Emitrr: Emitrr is a fast-growing US-based SaaS platform revolutionizing customer communication and engagement for local businesses. It is an AI employee for local businesses (eg. dental practice, primary care etc.) in the US that answer calls, schedule appointments and help communicate with their customers all while integrating with their system of record (CRM). Role Overview: We are hiring our first product designer so this role comes with some exciting challenges (read: opportunities). But before talking about the role, let's set some context. We are a post PMF (product market fit) startup, in a hyper scaling mode. We went from <30 customers to more than 700 customers without a UI/UX designer. While most companies will say this is impossible, we were able to do it because we are super customer focussed. We just continued listening to customers and thinking from first principles to solve customer problems and everyone in the team used to wear multiple hats. We will continue working with the mindset but along with building a design process for building amazing products that our customers love. Our product is being used by frontdesk/receptionists working in healthcare offices. So this will be a challenging role and UX plays a big part in the product as the users are not super tech savvy. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end product design process : requirement gathering, wireframing, prototyping, visual UI, and developer-ready handoff. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design scalable SaaS workflows, dashboard layouts, and feature modules. Design data visualization components , reports, and performance dashboards for US SMB customers. Develop and maintain a robust design system and UI component library for the product ecosystem (Figma preferred). Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to identify user friction and optimize user journeys. Optimize complex information architectures like customer conversation histories, omnichannel ticketing, and workflow automation UI. Understand technical constraints and actively participate in design feasibility and handoff discussions with engineering. Create responsive designs adaptable across web, tablet, and mobile devices. Iterate quickly based on data-backed insights, A/B test results, and customer feedback. Technical Requirements: 2–5 years of hands-on Product Design experience in SaaS or B2B product environments. Strong proficiency in Figma (preferred) , Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent tools. Experience designing SaaS platforms, CRMs, or workflow-based applications is highly desirable. Ability to design for data-heavy interfaces — reporting, analytics, or operational dashboards. Familiarity with frontend frameworks and developer handoff tools like Zeplin, Figma Dev Mode, or Storybook . Working knowledge of HTML/CSS principles to better collaborate on responsive and component-based design systems. Solid understanding of design systems, atomic design principles, and SaaS UI patterns . Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative UX research and translate insights into actionable designs.

Preferred Experience: Experience selling SaaS solutions to US SMB or mid-market businesses. Familiarity with CRM tools and outbound prospecting platforms. Responsibilities: Following up with leads via calls, email and text messages in order to set up a demo and close net new business Upsell product capabilities to existing clients by mapping current product capabilities for each account Maintaining a first response time of 5 minutes for every new lead (We do that currently, even with all the madness going on daily) Handling over 100+ leads/mo including closure, follow-up, demos, onboarding Following up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met. Presenting and demonstrating the value of products to prospective clients Achieving monthly sales quota of $5K MRR/month Maintaining the CRM with updated information for all leads and continuously improving the process for better insights Identifying opportunities for selling to existing leads / prospective clients Understanding the product in depth and working closely with support, marketing and the product team. Requirements: 3-8 years experience in SaaS/B2B/Product Work hours: US EST The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process. Strong time management skills. Computer skills, especially MS Office and CRM software (Hubspot preferred)
