Overview:

As a Technical Trainer, you'll deliver engaging, offline lessons on Data Structures, Algorithms, and Competitive Programming to tier-3 college students. Your core mission is to boost their coding skills, instill problem-solving confidence, and prepare them for contests and tech interviews. You’ll follow a structured curriculum while keeping sessions interactive, practice-oriented, and motivating.




Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach & Simplify:

    Deliver in-person classes on DSA and competitive programming, breaking down tough concepts into easy, relatable examples.


  • Live Coding & Engagement:

    Demonstrate problem-solving with live coding, pair programming, and class activities to keep students active and involved.


  • Mentorship:

    Offer personalized support through doubt-clearing sessions and group mentoring to help students overcome technical barriers.


  • Assessment & Feedback:

    Assist in quizzes, coding tasks, and mock contests. Provide detailed feedback to track student improvement.


  • Student Motivation:

    Monitor student progress, encourage participation, and offer extra support where needed. Inspire struggling students to keep pushing.


  • Content Development:

    Collaborate with the curriculum team to update or create high-impact slides, problem sets, and new examples.


  • Community Building:

    Encourage coding clubs, participate in internal forums, and occasionally support outreach events or demo classes.


  • Continuous Learning:

    Stay updated with the latest trends in programming and contests to bring relevant insights to class.




Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in C++/Java/Python, with deep understanding of DSA and problem-solving.


  • Strong background in competitive programming (e.g., Codeforces, CodeChef, ICPC).


  • Excellent communication and teaching ability; experience in classroom/bootcamp settings preferred.


  • Patience and adaptability to teach students with varying backgrounds.


  • Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent coding skills.


  • English fluency is required; Hindi/local language proficiency is a plus.


  • Tech-savvy and confident using teaching tools, code editors, and online judges.

    Clear growth in students' problem-solving and coding ability.


  • Class Engagement:

    High attendance, active class participation, and positive feedback (4.5/5 avg.).


  • Competitive Results:

    Students participating in contests and achieving placement success.


  • Syllabus Completion:

    All modules completed on time with high-quality delivery.


  • Student Support:

    Prompt resolution of doubts; approachable and helpful outside class.


  • Collaboration:

    Timely updates to academic team; effective coordination with TAs.
