Description
As a Procurement Travel & Expense Specialist at Toast, you will play a crucial role in managing the organization's travel and expense processes with a focus on ensuring policy compliance and delivering an efficient experience for employees. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and managing employee travel bookings, negotiating with travel service providers for best rates, and assisting employees with travel-related issues and queries. Additionally, you will review and process employee expense reports, manage the company's expense management system, and work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate recording of transactions in the financial systems. In terms of sourcing and procurement operations, you will be responsible for reviewing purchase requests, completing the PR to PO cycle, generating and processing purchase orders, and collaborating with internal departments to understand their procurement needs. Your role will also involve managing the internal inbox related to vendor setup, executing changes in systems, and ensuring prompt action by relevant stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of a bachelor's degree, 5+ years of procurement operational experience, and proficiency in procurement systems, vendor relationship management, and policy adherence. Strong problem-solving, analytical, time management, and organizational skills are essential, along with attention to detail and excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills. Experience with ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, or Netsuite is preferred, and flexibility to work in shifts, including US shifts, is required.
