Procurement Specialist

As a member of the team at AHEAD, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the placement of customer orders with our vendors. Your responsibilities will include having 3+ years of hands-on experience with the P2P process, ensuring all orders are placed in the Procurement Queue Report by the end of each day, following up on order confirmations, and responding to email queries promptly. Additionally, you will be responsible for placing orders with the correct vendor teams, confirming vendor/customer billing schedules, and ensuring orders are placed on the correct vendor accounts. Furthermore, you will verify that the correct purchase path was used or address any exceptions, confirm orders ahead of customer authorization exceptions, and create contracts in Salesforce for renewals and software orders. Collaboration with the order management team on escalation issues for order completion and shipping will also be part of your role. You will be expected to perform any other job duties as assigned. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of a high school diploma, with an associate's degree or higher being preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, while experience with Salesforce and/or Netsuite is preferred.
