Job Description

  • Position: Procurement / Purchase Executive
  • No. of Positions: 1 No (preferred Female only)
  • Experience: 1 - 3 years
  • Location : Chetpet , Chennai
  • Salary :(Negotiable) / Annum
  • Working time: 9.30 to 6.30 (Mon- Sat)
  • Company : Zebro Officemate Pvt. Ltd.

Candidate Profile:

  • Female candidate preferred.
  • Graduate in any discipline (Commerce / Business Administration preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchase department.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Tally ERP.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and finalize vendors/suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
  • Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate terms, and ensure competitive pricing.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in Tally ERP.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of goods and materials.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, price lists, and supplier contracts.
  • Work closely with Stores, Project, and Logistics teams to track and fulfill material requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering as needed.
  • Verify vendor invoices and follow up for payment processing.
  • Handle vendor payment reconciliation and resolve any payment discrepancies.
  • Ensure purchased goods meet required specifications and quality standards.
  • Resolve supplier disputes or delays promptly.

Mandatory Skills

  • Tally ERP – Proficient in creating and managing purchase orders, vendor ledgers, and payment entries.
  • Vendor Management – Strong skills in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and relationship handling.
  • MS Office – Especially Excel for purchase tracking, reports, and reconciliation.
  • Communication & Coordination – Ability to work closely with Stores, Projects, and Logistics teams.
  • Vendor Payment Reconciliation – Accuracy in verifying invoices, matching POs, and resolving discrepancies

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
