Skill required: Category Management - Procurement Operations Designation: Procurement Practice Manager Qualifications: Any Graduation Years of Experience: 13 to 18 years What would you do? You will be a part of Supply Chain Management team where in you will be accountable to manage the Supply Chain and provide insights which will help in increasing efficiency by doing away with waste and facilitating greater profits. It also involves management of the flow of goods and services and including all processes that transform raw materials into final products.Operational procurement is defined as the procurement of the goods or services that are needed to sustain the daily operation of a business. What are we looking for? A bachelor`s degree with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, procurement, Technology, or comparable professional education Proven multi-year track record in the IT industry and solid procurement background At least 6 years working experience in similar or adequate roles in procurement environment, with project and people management elements Minimum 3 years of experience working with senior executives to implement and manage initiatives in a highly complex matrix organization Strong knowledge of procurement tools content and data analysisPerform category management and sourcing activities for projects on a local level: Manage the category strategy implementation/execution for local projects and initiatives Design and develop relevant RFP documents for projects in line with global/regional strategies Perform supplier selection and fact-based negotiations in alignment with Regional Category Lead Negotiate agreements with suppliers and incorporate best practice metrics for agreements Involve the business for actions related to supplier base optimization, KPI implementation Drive deep XYZ market intelligence into all aspects of the value proposition In line with global/regional strategy, support classification, categorization, and evaluation of suppliers Roles and Responsibilities: Manage the Procurement Plus Technology Category on a local level: Manage and develop the Procurement Plus local Technology category organization Assess impact of locally changing requirements, including legislation and policies Actively support roll-out of global/regional category development initiatives within the Geographic Unit Support strong and robust procurement and category infrastructure aimed at optimizing activities Support the local business customer in setting up their plans, budgets, and strategies Ensure execution of the yearly action plans to improve the category at local level Actively participate in category community calls and foster team spirit at local level Lead by example, potential managerial responsibility for team membersEnsure implementation of procurement initiative and sourcing agreements on country level: Coordinate resource allocation and project triage to support global/ market initiatives, on a country level Lead and support strategic category management and procurement activities within Market Unit Support global/regional category execution by leading crucial contract implementation & driving compliance Identify, support and implement other improvement initiatives, e.g. specification optimization Promote the use of contracts and buying channels according to category strategiesManage supplier and customer relationships on a local level: Manage local supplier relationships in line with Global Category and 360 Value Mgmt. strategy Develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with key internal customers and stakeholders Manage internal customer feedback on category organization & supplier performance Proactively organize sessions with internal customers to identify value contribution opportunities Ensure that input from stakeholders is considered in the category strategy and sourcing processes Drive project pipeline and forecast of sourcing activity Qualifications Any Graduation
