Manager Procurement

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in project procurement, supplier development, and cost optimization, along with strong ERP and supply chain management expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

• Manage end-to-end procurement cycles from requisition to delivery.
  
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and contractors.
  
• Lead negotiations and finalize techno-commercial contracts ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance.
  

Supply Chain & Logistics

• Plan and oversee logistics for timely material movement and delivery to sites.
  
• Handle import/export procurement, transportation planning, and vendor dispatch tracking.
  
• Coordinate with customs and logistics partners for smooth material clearance and movement.
  

Inventory & Materials Management

• Maintain optimal stock levels based on project requirements.
  
• Supervise receipt, inspection, and storage of materials ensuring quality and accuracy.
  
• Conduct stock audits and maintain ERP-based inventory records.
  

Vendor Management & Development

• Develop and manage vendor relationships for high-quality, cost-effective supplies.
  
• Evaluate supplier performance and initiate improvements.
  
• Drive supplier development initiatives for critical project materials.
  

Cost Optimization & Process Improvement

• Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and effective negotiations.
  
• Leverage ERP systems to streamline procurement operations.
  
• Prepare MIS and dashboards for management reporting.
  

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with project, engineering, and finance teams to ensure procurement alignment with project timelines and budgets.
  
• Mentor and guide junior team members to maintain process efficiency and discipline.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical / Civil); MBA in Materials Management / Supply Chain
  
• 9 to 12 years of experience in Procurement & Supply Chain management within EPC, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Power, or Construction projects.
  
• Strong experience in materials management, logistics, and vendor development.
  
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Experience handling procurement of structural steel, rebar, concrete, formwork, scaffolding, capital equipment, and finishing materials.
