Job Description

As a Procurement Lead with 7-10 years of experience in sourcing infrastructure-related commodities, your expertise is focused on steel procurement, specifically including Structural steel, TMT, Puff panels, PPGL, GI, and exposure to GFRP (bars/mesh), Ceramic, Fiber, and CP. Your role plays a crucial part in shaping the category sourcing strategy across India by effectively utilizing supplier and distributor networks. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop a category sourcing strategy for the mentioned commodities across all geographies in India - Manage supplier/distributor ecosystem/networking - Conduct sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and vendor management activities **Qualifications Required:** - Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively - Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and marketplace aggregators - Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated track record in data analytics and market intelligence - Familiarity with ERP/Systems Ideal candidates for this position hold a B.Tech with 7-10 years of experience or an MBA with 5-7 years of experience from reputed colleges.
