Job Description – Procurement Engineer (Real Estate)

About the Role

Imperial Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to manage the sourcing, negotiation, and purchase of materials, equipment, and services for our real estate projects. The role requires a strong technical understanding of construction materials and engineering products, combined with excellent vendor management and cost-optimization skills. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery of quality materials to keep projects running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify, evaluate, and select reliable vendors and suppliers for construction materials, finishes, MEP items, and services.

· Prepare RFQs (Request for Quotation), compare bids, and negotiate for the best price, quality, and delivery terms.

· Ensure timely procurement of materials in line with project schedules.

· Collaborate with project, design, and site teams to understand technical requirements.

· Maintain records of purchases, pricing, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.

· Develop cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and statutory regulations.

· Coordinate with finance for vendor payments and resolve discrepancies.

· Continuously monitor market trends, material innovations, and price fluctuations.

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.

· 2–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in real estate, construction, or infrastructure sector.

· Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor markets, and technical specifications.

· Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement tools.

· Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

· Analytical mindset with cost-conscious approach.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
