Responsible for procurement of brought-out parts/items used in assembly
Sourcing & procuring, corrugated boxes, stickers, labels, inserts, tapes, and other packaging consumables.
Identify and develop reliable vendors for packaging and outsourced components.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Raise purchase orders and coordinate deliveries in alignment with production schedules.
Collaborate with production, planning, and stores departments to understand material requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock of packaging and bought-out items.
Track supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
Ensure compliance with quality and packaging specifications defined by the organization.
