Procurement Executive

KEY RESPONSIBILITES-
* Researching potential vendors and suppliers; locating vendors of materials, equipment orsupplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of salesPrepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment;negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricingRepresent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers;comparing and evaluating offers from suppliersReview, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids; prepare bidawards requiring board approvalTrack orders and ensure timely delivery; track incoming inventory, delivery arrival time,and note actual arrival timeCollaborate with financial team members on contracts, invoicing, and other financialmattersPerform risk management for supply contracts and agreements; preparing ComparativeStatements and analyzing quotationsAnalyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future materialavailabilityProvides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, andsummarizing data and trendsControl spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
