Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Supplier Management:

Identify, onboard, and develop qualified casting suppliers
Build alternate sources to mitigate supply risks
Conduct supplier capability analysis to ensure quality and timely delivery
Schedule and perform supplier assessments for process enhancement
Track and communicate supplier performance ratings (quality & delivery)

Sourcing & Procurement:

Procure required castings at the right time, cost, and quality
Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing and quality assurance
Draft and manage procurement contracts aligned with demand forecasts
Support product development by procuring prototypes and trial quantities

Product Development Support:

Ensure compliance with new prov products with suppliers
Address supplier non-conformance with quality teams
Implement sustainability and process optimizatio

Desired profile:

Experience in the foundry field (SS Sand IVC)
Strategic Sourcing of castings parts in sand (SS, CI) & investment process
Knowledge in ASTM, DIN standards, Codes of materials
Drafting, negotiating and managing contracts
Data analytics skills, Forecasting & Supplier risk assessment
ERP systems usage (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Effective planning skills.
