Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Supplier Management & Development:

Identify and onboard qualified suppliers for bought-out components
Develop alternate sources to minimize supply chain risks
Perform supplier capability analysis to ensure quality and delivery commitments
Conduct supplier assessments for process improvements and compliance

Procurement & Sourcing:

Source and procure products on time, at optimal cost, and required quality
Negotiate contracts with suppliers based on current and forecasted demand
Maintain continuous supplier engagement for timely deliveries

Quality & Risk Management:

Ensure all procured products comply with industry and product standards
Address supplier non-conformance in coordination with quality teams
Implement risk forecasting and mitigation plans to secure supply continuity

Desired profile:

Experience in handling OEM products(example motors, seals, gear boxes)
Strategic Sourcing of OEM products
Knowledge in handling the projects with OEM for end customer requirements
Drafting, negotiating and managing contracts
Data analytics skills, Forecasting & Supplier risk assessment
ERP systems usage (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Effective planning skills.
