Procurement Engineer

As a Junior Procurement Engineer specializing in Electronics/Instrumentation, your role involves sourcing electronic components and systems from both domestic and international suppliers. Your background in electronics or instrumentation engineering will be beneficial in evaluating vendor quotations, negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery timelines. Your coordination with engineering and project teams will ensure the timely availability of materials. Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, as well as identifying new sourcing opportunities, will be key responsibilities. It is essential to ensure compliance with quality and procurement standards throughout the procurement process. Key Responsibilities: - Source and procure electronic components, instruments, and systems from domestic and international suppliers - Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines - Coordinate with engineering and project teams for timely material availability - Maintain supplier relationships and identify new sourcing opportunities - Ensure compliance with quality and procurement standards Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering - Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement/sourcing of electronic components and systems - Experience in international sourcing, with a preference for India, China, USA, and Germany - Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills - Familiarity with procurement tools and ERP systems is a plus In addition to the above requirements, hands-on experience in both local and global sourcing, exposure to technical specifications of electronic/instrumentation components, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple procurement cycles are preferred qualities for the ideal candidate.
