Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in a procurement or supply chain environment and understand vendor payments, purchase order processes, and inventory-related accounting. Must own a bike. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments. Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings. Prepare financial reports, MIS, and assist in audits. Reconcile vendor statements with purchase records and coordinate with procurement/supply chain teams for payment clarifications. Track advances and ensure accurate accounting of goods and services received. Maintain documentation related to vendor invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipt notes. Required Skills: Sound knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc.) Hands-on experience with Tally / Zoho / SAP or any accounting software Experience working in procurement, trading, or supply chain environments Strong reconciliation and documentation skills Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in MS Excel
