Job Description

Objective:

Ensure the effective implementation of the Quality Management System at the Program production operations. Increase the Level of Customer Satisfaction, compliance with customer, regulatory and company requirements and achieve the company business objectives

Authorities:

This position has the power/right to control, command, issue orders, make decisions, assign resources and/or delegate to ensure compliance to the company policies, processes, practices and the defined objectives

Role & responsibilities

Main Function Responsibilities and Activities

Control the product realization process

  • Assure shipment of product which meets the customer requirements - ship a product free of defects
  • Assure the product-process control according to the customer and company specifications
  • Define, monitor and evaluate the effectivity of quality plans and practices and maintain, follow up and control QRQC process
  • Manage the corrective and preventive action process
  • Document and follow-up internal and external corrective actions and verify its effectiveness
  • Maintain the CA/PA system for internal, external quality issues

Communicate with the external customer

  • Communicate with customer regarding product quality issues, validate and send answers to customer complaints
  • Ensure all CAPA analysis and actions are adequate to address the reported conditions
  • Manage the transition/introduction of new products
  • Maintain FAI and PFMEA to ensure failure-free transference and new product lines or processes introduction/improvement
  • Perform Validation of new components and tools as required

Manage the documentation and records control process

  • Generate, review, implement and maintain IMS documentation of quality department, work instructions, formats, etc.
  • Review and approve technical and performance specifications, quality documents and instructions Manage the training process
  • Provide on the job training as needed on quality criteria, customer complaints, etc.
  • Co-lead with process engineering team, as required to develop/update/improve training modules and support for trainers
  • Support material acquisition/receiving inspection process
  • Provide effective feedback to receiving inspection process about the quality of supplied parts
  • Support on components FAI process to receiving inspection as required
  • Manage the continous improvement process
  • Actively support the company continuous improvement initiatives and ensure Continuous Improvement objectives
  • Manage the audit process
  • Perform internal audits (process, product and flash audits) and provide objective feedback based on audit findings
  • Support and attend all required audit (customer, internal, external, etc.)

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 5-8yrs of Experience in wiring harness industry is mandatory
  • Education: BTech
