This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract

The role in a nutshell


This role is pivotal in our wider Operational Transformation program. We are reviewing all of our processes and our ways of working to ensure we provide the best possible outcomes. You will play a lead role in gathering and collating our process library and supporting the program to determine how we want our Guardians to do their jobs. You will be driving a best in class approach to process documentation, storage and knowledge content to ensure Guardians have everything they need to thrive and support our Clients and Workers.

How you will make a difference:

  • Work closely with our subject matter experts to document the as-is view of all SOPs, providing a clear baseline of current processes.
  • Review and analyse local or team-specific SOPs and work instructions, highlighting variations and inconsistencies.
  • Identify pain points and areas for improvement, driving efficiency and enhancing overall satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Transformation and Operations Teams to develop business cases, helping prioritise and deliver meaningful improvements.
  • Ensure training materials and knowledge management articles are updated to reflect the latest SOP changes and refinements.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness and benefits of implemented changes, supporting continuous improvement across the business.

What will make you stand out:

  • Proven track record in process architecture, with the ability to document processes to Safeguard-standard formats and standards.
  • Hands-on experience creating detailed process maps, visually capturing workflows.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand how an operation functions and capture the processes in their raw format quickly
  • Skilled at engaging with operational Guardians at all levels to identify improvement opportunities and drive process enhancements.
  • Experienced in creating compelling business cases and change rationales that influence decision-making.
  • Proficient in Smartsheet (or similar project and process management tools) to track tasks, workflows, and project progress.
  • Knowledgeable about Knowledge Management systems, including procedures and governance for updating and creating new content.
  • Able to work cross-functionally, building productive relationships quickly to achieve results.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills
