The role in a nutshell

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial reporting and compliance for a recently created / acquired subsidiary of Safeguard Global entities. Ensure proactive management of compliance and stakeholders (internal & external) to help build a world class finance team. This is a 6 month fixed term contract role.

How you will make a difference:

• By production of high quality monthly financial reports with full review of P&L and all Balance Sheet positions
• Completing weekly bank reconciliations, analyze and summarize the cash position.
• Monitor cashflows and highlight any concerns.
• Assisting AR team with invoicing and debt identification.
• Intercompany reconciliations.
• Control of the market related AP and liabilities identification.
• Processing month end journal entries.
• Ensuring financial control and compliance.
• Monitor and highlight any potential risks of the business.
• Supporting local accounting/tax/audit professionals with all required documentation and explanations as often as required (monthly, quarterly or yearly).
• Supporting business with various reports upon request.
• Acting in accordance with Safeguard Global values and ethics.
• Process, procedures, policies review and improvement
• Best practice sharing with team-mates.

What will give you an advantage:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting role desired
• Experience or exposure of working with multinational business is desired.
• Designed and implemented process improvement initiatives
• Experience with financial accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Excellent communication skills, including English Language, Data analysis skills and Advanced Excel skills.
• Willing to commit to a 6-month Fixed Term Contract.
