Hiring for Manager Process Excellence (Clinical Support Solutions)

Role Summary

hands-on Manager Process Excellence

Key Responsibilities

1. Hands-on Process Mapping & Improvement

  • Deep-dive into current CSS processes (e.g., Scribing, Documentation, Medical Coding, Clinical Ops) to identify inefficiencies and gaps.
  • Conduct time-motion studies, root cause analysis (RCA), and develop improvement recommendations.
  • Build & deploy standardized SOPs, workflows, and quality checklists for operations.

2. Support Process Redesign for Transformation

  • Partner with the Tech Transformation team to redesign processes that can be automated or AI-assisted.
  • Identify manual tasks that can be eliminated, automated, or streamlined with technology.
    Help run PoCs/pilots and track adoption, success metrics, and outcomes.

3. Quality & Efficiency Improvement

  • Improve productivity, turnaround time (TAT), and error rates across CSS.
  • Conduct RCA on escalations/defects and create prevention-based solutions (not band-aids).
  • Drive process standardization across client accounts to reduce variability and dependency on individuals.

4. Client Onboarding & Stabilization Support

  • Participate in Day-Zero process planning for new client onboarding.
  • Prepare onboarding process maps, KT plans, risk logs, and stabilization trackers.
  • Support 30-60-90 day performance improvement and stabilization after go-live.

5. Change Management & Adoption

  • Enable teams to adopt new processes through training, demos, feedback loops, and monitoring.
  • Monitor process adherence through audits and continuous feedback.
  • Promote a culture of process discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Experience & Skills

Must Have:

  • 5–8 years of experience in

    Process Improvement / Business Excellence / Transformation / Operations

    roles.
  • Experience in

    US Healthcare Operations

    (at least one of: coding, scribe, clinical documentation, RCM, or provider operations).Demonstrated success in

    personally implementing

    process changes (not just recommending).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to extract insights from data and act on them.
  • Skilled in process mapping, RCA, Lean, standardization, and SOP creation.

Preferred (Good to Have):

  • Exposure to

    Lean Six Sigma

    (Yellow/Green Belt preferred).
  • Experience working with tech/automation teams to improve workflows.
  • Strong Excel/Sheets, Process Mapping tools (LucidChart, Miro, Visio).
