Roles & Responsibilities:

Process Engineer:

Required Skills: Aspen Hysys

·        Process engineering calculations (line sizing, pump hydraulics, equipment sizing, Hydraulic Calculations, Simulation).

·        PSV scenario identifications and calculation of respective relieving capacity; Flare Header sizing; etc)

·        Engineering drawings like PFDs, MSDs, and P&IDs

·        Line lists to support P&IDs (inclusive of operating and design conditions, test pressure, insulation requirement with thickness); Tracing & insulation requirements.

·        Equipment datasheets - like reactors, vessels, tanks, columns, heat exchangers, pump, compressor, filters, mixers, agitators, packages, etc

·        Input to hazardous area classification drawings

·        Environmental loads and treatment

·        Basic Process Control System.
