Job Title: Process Design Engineer Experience: 4 to 6 yrs Location: Hyderabad. Key Responsibilities Accurately estimate and optimize cycle times to enhance throughput, reduce lead times, and improve efficiency. Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes aligned with product specifications. Create comprehensive process flow sheets including sequences, parameters, and technical specifications. Monitor and control process adherence to maintain quality and production goals . Lead continuous improvement initiatives —cost reduction, productivity improvement, and waste minimization. Work cross-functionally with design, production, and quality teams to resolve manufacturability issues . Maintain detailed documentation of process parameters, tooling, and improvements . Generate technical documentation: process protocols, evaluations, and R&D reports . Contribute to welding process design including selection of weld methods, joint design, weld sequencing, and process optimization for aluminum assemblies. Ensure weld quality , structural integrity, and manufacturability using appropriate design and process controls. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical , Industrial , or related engineering discipline. 4–6 years of relevant experience in process engineering or welding/process design . Proficiency in CAD tools : Catia V5 and Siemens NX. Knowledge of aluminum extrusion , tooling , assembly operations , and welding methods (especially TIG/MIG for aluminum). Strong understanding of process optimization , cycle time reduction, and cost control. Familiarity with tool life improvement and process capability control .
