As a Robotics Automation Specialist with 3-5 years of experience, your role will involve handling robotics arms and specializing in the automation process. You should have prior work experience in medical device manufacturing (such as implants, bone plates, titanium, plastic manufacturing) or the automobile industry with a focus on a robotic/automation division. Your proficiency should include working knowledge of Sensors, Vision Cameras, Conveyors, PLCs, Digital Systems, and Processes. Your responsibilities will include an in-depth understanding of Electrical & Electronic Systems, with the ability to comprehend new electronic devices and systems. You will be responsible for planning and executing plant projects that involve complex equipment changes and significant process improvements. Your role will also involve ideating and developing automation design and standards, alongside project implementation to ensure a successful production process. Additionally, you will provide mentorship and training to more junior team members, offering Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to Manufacturing and other departments for designing and operating process automation equipment. You will support the resolution of equipment breakdowns and quality issues at the sites, conducting troubleshooting and technical analyses on manufacturing equipment and process automation systems. Your responsibilities will include initiating change controls and participating in all aspects of the change controls process, as well as reviewing SOPs, Functional Specifications, and work instructions. Qualifications & Requirements: - You should hold a degree in engineering, preferably B.Tech/BE in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronics. - You should have substantial experience in the design, operation, and maintenance of process automation systems. - Experience with automated control systems in automated production lines, especially in a clear aligner setting, is highly desired.
