Role Description

As a Research professional in Private Equity – Fixed Income, you will evaluate potential investments by analyzing financial statements, credit risk, market trends, and macroeconomic factors. You will prepare investment memoranda, conduct due diligence, and provide recommendations to senior management or investment committees.

The role involves close collaboration with deal teams, portfolio managers, and external partners to assess investment performance, monitor market developments, and support portfolio optimization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data are essential. This position provides exposure to private equity investing, fixed income markets, and strategic investment decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on fixed income investment opportunities in private equity portfolios.
• Evaluate financial statements, cash flows, credit metrics, and valuation models.
• Monitor macroeconomic, sectoral, and market trends affecting investments.
• Prepare detailed investment reports, memos, and presentations for internal review.
• Assist in due diligence processes, including data collection, interviews, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (CFA, CAIA) preferred.
• 1–10 years of experience in investment research, private equity, fixed income, or related financial roles.
• Strong understanding of fixed income instruments, valuation techniques, and credit analysis.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and relevant research tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
