Job Description
At Eptura, we’re building the future of worktech—helping people, workplaces, and assets reach their full potential. As a Principal Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in designing and delivering scalable, high-performance software solutions that power our global platform. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build APIs, optimize performance, and lead the development of key modules using modern technologies. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about clean code, architecture, and innovation.

Design and develop APIs based on application specifications and business needs
- Deliver end-to-end solutions for key modules using Python and Django
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
- Test, deploy, and debug applications to ensure high performance and reliability
- Continuously refactor and improve existing software using industry-standard principles
- Collaborate in requirements reviews and contribute to technical planning
- Document code and processes throughout the software development lifecycle
- Implement multi-tier software architectures using modern technologies
- Monitor live systems and optimize performance proactively
- Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver impactful IT solutions

10+ years of experience in Python development, with a strong foundation in backend engineering
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Django, building scalable web applications
- Proficient in database technologies including PSQL, RDS, and SQL Server
- Experienced in DevOps practices, especially Continuous Delivery and CI/CD pipelines
- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments
- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI and its integration into software systems
- Bonus: Experience with Java and GoLang is a plus
