Principal Enterprise Architect- Product Lifecycle Management (Teamcentre)
Responsibilities Demonstrating Domain Knowledge Expertise:
- Leading the architecture and development of the entire suite of Teamcenter PLM functionalities, modules and associated products. Good understanding of OOTB Teamcenter processes and application landscape design including the use of Mendix.
- Providing breadth and depth in consulting expertise for both process/functional transformation as well as technology solution design/architecture across the entire life cycle of a Product, i.e., Requirements, Concept, Design Engineering, Prototype, Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Service Support, and Phaseout Disposal.
- Working as a Digital Technology business partner PLM change agent. Provide advice on the problem-solving of strategic business process and technology issues through to resolution, providing considered consultancy and viable solutions.
- Defining and executing the data migration conversion strategy and technical plan. Expertise in data migration methods and tools.
- Leveraging PLM industry best-practices for process and tool, and Company global process strategy, to define and document new business processes, data models and application configurations. Build TO-BE map of processes, systems and tools.
- Providing expertise in process data re-engineering design using formal modelling and analysis tools.
- Understanding and taking into consideration, risks, costs, benefits and possibilities offered by customization vs. configuration. Produce documented application frameworks or architectures.
- Ensuring that specific IT implementation standards are incorporated in to the implementation activity from the start of the project, including standard means of documentation, use of applications, middleware and other system standards.
- Defining and communicating the transformation project architecture and execution strategy. Identify, scope, and lead business/site readiness projects to prepare for Teamcenter rollouts, enhancements and bug-fixes.

To be successful in this role, the key requirements are:
- Have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
- Have Minimum 12 years of experience architecting and implementing large scale enterprise level wing-to-wing Siemens Teamcenter PLM transformations, including in brown field implementations involving complex / significant data migration and cutover activities, and bring best practices to the table.
- Have deep domain expertise in the following domains: (1) Systems Engineering; (2) Product Structuring Configuration (variants options); (3) Parts BOM Management, Structuring Strategy (eBOM, mBOM, BOP, Service BOM/BOP et al); (4) Part Classification; (5) Engineering Document Management; (5) Enterprise Change Configuration Management; (6) CAD Integration and Design Release Management; and (7) PLM Integrations with ERP, MES, CRM, Planning and other Enterprise Applications.
- Have Deep understanding of business processes from ITO (Inquiry to Order), OTR (Order to Requisition), RTR (Requisition to Retirement) and NPI (New Product Introduction) in different businesses, to design and develop a robust solution/system technology framework to meet business, functional user requirements, with Out-Of-The-Box functionality keeping customization to a minimum.
- Have Experience of developing and communicating technology strategies, architecture frameworks and product roadmaps. Thought leadership in bringing technical solution design best practices to the table is expected.
- Have Working knowledge of AWS (Active Work Space) and Mendix; product knowledge across all modules and Teamcenter roadmap (inc. Siemens Teamcenter Requirement Mgt. Systems Engineering; Manufacturing/EasyPlan, Service Lifecycle Mgt, Simulation Data Management/TC-SIM, Product Cost Management, and Technomatix / OpCenter, VSA,);
- Have Working knowledge of BMIDE (essential); ITK customization or portal customization; programming languages such as Java, VB, XML, XSTL, C, C++; application servers; J2EE; Oracle; Unix O/S, Linux, Siteminder; LDAP; SOA; messaging, and physical architectures.
- Have Experience of working in projects following an Agile/SCRUM implementation approach.
- Have Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Proven abilities to communicate complex topics to leaders and peers in a simple, clear, plan oriented manner.
- Be willing to travel internationally (up to 30%)
