Role Overview

We are seeking a senior-level Embedded Hardware & Software Subject Matter Expert to lead the design, development, and optimization of embedded systems for next-generation products.

This role requires deep expertise in embedded hardware architecture, firmware development, and system integration, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.

The SME will act as a technical authority, driving innovation, mentoring teams, and collaborating across hardware, software, and manufacturing domains.

Key Responsibilities

Embedded Hardware Leadership

• Define and review hardware architecture for embedded systems, including microcontrollers, SoCs, and peripheral interfaces.
• Oversee schematic design, PCB layout reviews, and component selection for cost, performance, and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards, signal integrity, and thermal management.

Embedded Software & Firmware Development

• Lead development of real-time firmware, device drivers, and low-level software for embedded platforms.
• Optimize code for performance, memory footprint, and power efficiency.
• Ensure robust RTOS integration, bootloader development, and secure firmware updates.

System Integration & Validation

• Drive hardware-software co-design for seamless integration and functionality.
• Define and execute system-level validation, debugging, and performance benchmarking.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, ISO, automotive, industrial).

Innovation & Advanced Technologies

• Explore IoT connectivity, edge computing, and AI/ML integration in embedded systems.
• Champion adoption of modern toolchains, CI/CD for embedded development, and automated testing frameworks.

Leadership & Mentorship

• Act as a technical mentor for hardware and firmware teams, fostering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, VLSI, and manufacturing for product realization.
• Influence technology roadmaps and strategic decisions for embedded platforms.

Qualifications-Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
