We are seeking an experienced Principal Data Architect to lead our data architecture strategy with a strong emphasis on ETL development and data modeling. This role will define and implement scalable data frameworks, guide data integration and transformation efforts, and ensure the integrity, efficiency, and availability of data to support enterprise analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain enterprise-level data architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
• Define standards and best practices for data integration, modeling, and governance.
• Provide thought leadership on data platform evolution (e.g., data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses).
• Architect robust ETL pipelines to extract data from various sources (structured and unstructured), transform it, and load it into target systems.
• Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead logical and physical data modeling efforts across operational and analytical environments (OLTP, OLAP).
Required:
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
• Expert-level experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc.).
• Deep expertise in data modeling (3NF, dimensional, data vault, etc.) and tools like Erwin, ER/Studio, or dbt.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with RDBMS and NoSQL technologies.
• Cloud data architecture experience with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
