Description
Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership to the college, ensuring academic quality and regulatory compliance. Oversee day-to-day administration, faculty development, academic planning, and student services. Ensure adherence to affiliating university, statutory councils, and regulatory bodies . Coordinate curriculum planning, examination processes, academic calendar, and timetables. Lead recruitment, mentoring, and appraisal of teaching and non-teaching staff. Foster a culture of research, innovation, and community-based rehabilitation programs. Collaborate with hospitals and clinical partners for internships and practical training. Organize seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs. Monitor student discipline, academic performance, and support grievance redressal. Represent the institution in external forums, inspections, and academic networks. Qualifications : MPT in any specialty (Doctorate in Physiotherapy/Ph.D. preferred) Registered with the Indian Association of Physiotherapists Experience: Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in a recognized Physiotherapy institution Minimum 5 years of administrative/leadership experience (as HOD, Vice-Principal, or Principal) Skills: Leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills In-depth knowledge of curriculum frameworks, accreditation, and clinical training coordination Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Work Location: In person
