Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pricing Specialist - Ocean, based in Pune. The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies for ocean freight services. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market trends, coordinating with customer service and sales teams, providing quotes to clients, negotiating rates with carriers, and ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability. The role also involves collaborating with finance teams to monitor cost structures and contributing to business growth through strategic pricing initiatives.

• Strong Analytical Skills for market analysis and pricing strategy development
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills for effective client and team coordination
• Experience in Finance to monitor cost structures and maintain profitability
• Sales skills for negotiating rates and providing competitive quotes
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant logistics software
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of the ocean freight industry is a must
