Pricing Manager

We are looking for a Pricing Manager to join our Bangalore office, who will be a key member in the evaluation and execution of global pricing initiatives across Clarivate s product lines in the Life Sciences Healthcare segment. This Pricing Manager will own relationships with the product managers and conduct all analyses required in support of initiatives that create a substantial top-line impact on the organization. The ideal candidate must be proactive, solution-oriented, and a team player who has demonstrated success in managing KPIs, applying analytical models to large data sets, and seamless execution of high-impact projects.

About You

• Graduate or postgraduate in any discipline
• At least 8 years of professional experience in pricing strategy, stakeholder management, people management, Strong MS Office Skills (Excel with VBA, PowerPoint), etc
• Expert in working with large complex data sets and data visualization tools; strong ability to draw simplicity from complexity and bring structure to ambiguity when working with data
• Good analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong initiative, business acumen, problem-solving ability, and sense of ownership when driving assigned projects to completion

• Prior experience in Consulting, strategy or FPA
• Salesforce exposure is good to have

What will you be doing in this role

• Pricing Strategy and Analytics: Support in building price revenue models across Clarivate s product lines by conducting detailed product and customer analysis. Report and measure the performance of pricing and commercial programs to Clarivate leadership.
• Stakeholder management: Own relationship with product managers and establish themselves as a pricing expert for key product and customer segments
• Price Optimization: Identify improvement opportunities for price optimization to create incremental topline impact, conduct analysis to monitor pricing, and formulate strategies for maintaining competitive advantage
• Product management support: Provide technical and business product management support for internal pricing system and tools, including creation and maintenance of software solutions (pricing calculators in Excel or other tools) and pricing databases
• Implementation of Pricing Models: Play a key role in the roll-out and launch of the new pricing propositions and models to sales and other functions, conduct UATs, etc
• Training Documentation: Develop workshop material, presentations
• Manage a team of pricing analysts, guiding the development and execution of pricing strategies.
• Oversee the implementation of pricing models and monitor their effectiveness in the market.
• Ensure pricing strategies align with product positioning and are responsive to market demand.
• Lead the preparation of pricing reports and presentations for senior management.
• Provision of pricing expertise and support to internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in pricing processes and tools.
• Collaborate with product, sales, and finance teams to ensure pricing strategies are integrated across the organization.
• Lead smaller pricing initiatives and support the execution of larger, more complex strategies.
• Understand market and competitive dynamics at high level for selected product and customer segments
