Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pricing & Costing / Quality Inspector to join our sheet metal manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will support the costing department by preparing price estimates, analyzing material/labor costs, and ensuring quality standards across production processes.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing & Costing

Assist in preparing cost estimates for sheet metal components and assemblies.

Analyze raw material, fabrication, and labor costs.

Prepare pricing sheets, quotations, and cost breakdown reports.

Coordinate with production and purchase teams for updated cost inputs.

Maintain costing records and update price lists as required.

Quality Inspection

Inspect sheet metal parts based on drawings, measurements, and specifications.

Use measuring tools such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.

Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformance during in-process and final inspection.

Prepare inspection reports and highlight quality issues to the production team.

Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer requirements.

Skills & Competencies

Basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.

Knowledge of engineering drawings and measurement tools.

Strong analytical and numerical skills for costing activities.

Attention to detail and accuracy in inspection work.

Good communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work in coordination with production, purchase, and quality teams.

Education

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.

Training in Quality Inspection or Costing will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
