Presales Executive

Job Role

The Presales Executive supports the sales team by generating and qualifying leads, engaging with potential clients through telecalling, understanding customer requirements, and preparing proposals and presentations to support successful business conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads through telecalling, online enquiries, and referrals
• Conduct outbound and inbound calls to prospective clients to explain products and services
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with sales and technical teams to propose suitable solutions
• Support the sales team during presales activities and client follow-ups
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and basic cost estimates
• Respond to client queries and provide timely clarifications
• Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, proposals, and client interactions in CRM systems
• Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team
• Assist in market research and competitor analysis
• Ensure timely follow-up to improve lead conversion

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in telecalling, lead generation, presales, or sales support (preferred)
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand customer needs and explain solutions clearly
• Good documentation, coordination, and follow-up skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
• Target-oriented and self-motivated approach
